Hunting Pheasants in SD

Have you experienced the thrill of a good pheasant hunt? Just the sound of a pheasant taking wing can get your blood rushing. Pheasants make for a great hunt. In colder weather it can be challenging to flush them up for a shot. On a warm sunny fall day it is quite enjoyable to walk corn fields in hopes of flushing some great shots. After a day of pheasant hunting nothing is better than a meal of pheasant to top off the day.

HARRISBURG, Pa., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- While the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners just gave approval to the 2006 youth pheasant hunt - Oct. 7-13 - Carl G. Roe, agency executive director, noted that now is the time for hunting clubs interested in hosting a youth pheasant hunt to begin making plans.
